I know I don't post every day, but it is easy for me to take a picture everyday. With my cute kiddos around there always seems to be a reason to have my camera in my hands and I love it. I love having this way to capture the litte and big things in life.

This night I asked Adrienne to get in her jammies; which she did, evidenced by the little purple stripes sticking out of the bottom of the shirt. Then she took it one step further by dressing up like her Daddy. She put on about 5 of Dan's shirts and his basketball shorts. I also love that she has the book about dressing up, laying out on the ground. I heart this moment.

Back to school(64/365)

Ashton loves preschool. She talks about it all the time. She is so happy to go each time, here she is hamming it up with her new haircut and a cute little Hello Kitty back pack.

Naturally, after 3 weeks of eating out and watching a lot of tv, I had to start working out again.

P90x you are the bane of my existence, but I still love the results I am getting from you hour long work outs and two a days

Drive home (61/365)

This time I drove through Las Vegas instead of through Northern Arizona. It was gorgeous driving and seeing all of the Saguro Cactus and how uniquely beautiful the desert landscape can be.

Oasis (60/365)

Taken at the Phoenix zoo. It is such a fun zoo it is big enough to have so many fun animals and it is small enough that you can walk around comfortably with small children.

Princess and the Frog (56/365)

We went to see Princess and the Frog with my brother Keith and his family. It was a really fun outing.
The movie was alright, lets just say that playing in the arcade was the highlight of the trip. Watch out for Keith, he's a trained fighter and one mean shot.

The ironic thing about this pic is that Samuelito is sitting on a sign that says, "Do not play in the fountain" Good thing he can't read and we couldn't see it, so we weren't really breaking any of the rules ;)

The caterpillar or the girl? We played outside and worked up an appetite, almost everyday in AZ. This was a favorite spot for us, an outdoor mall near Queen Creek, with a play area.

This is my sister in law Adriana. Isn't she beautiful? My daughter Adrienne was born on her birthday. They share a name and a birthday. And a love of shoes.

The Disney store is so so cute! Princess dresses, shoes, purses, tiaras, etc. So good for little girls who like to shop and so bad for mom's wallet.

Poor Adrienne was no physical match for Samuelito. He is very strong and definitely can hit harder than Adrienne.

But don't worry, she is quick enough to know that she can pay him back on the playground....

Matters in her own hands (48/365)

Even though it was warm as could be in Arizona, it was too cold to go swimming, Adrienne just couldn't fathom that we were in sweltering weather (at least compared to Logan) and couldn't go swimming. So she took things into her own hands. She put on her own swimsuit and found a pool toy. And Grandma's huge bathtub would have to suffice.

Baby Jesus lying in a manger. So peaceful and blessed. Did Mary know that her son would be crucified and die at a (relatively) young age? God knew. He had a plan, as he has a plan for all of us. He knows us individually. And his plan is bigger than we can understand. And every trial is for our good. And God gives us peace.
I have to remind myself of that, especially today, when the death of my friend's 14 month old son, is weighing on my heart. It is a heartbreaking reason to hug my kids a little tighter today.
